Saturday August 14th is the Next Church Supper
FANTASTIC SUMMER BARBECUE
Supper is served from 5 to 6:30 pm

CHURCH RETREAT
On Saturday August 28th there will be an
all-church retreat from 9 to 3 at Joyce and Paul Foley’s Tucker Pond home. Parking is limited so carpooling is essential. Meet at the church at 8:30 on this day, and drivers will leave promptly at 8:45. If you need transportation call the church office (456-3447) by Friday morning at 11 am.
Discussions will include:
1. Concerns, interests, and ideas from the church body
2. Church goals brought forward from last year’s retreat for updating
3. Interim and search process
4. Faith Formation Team plans for fall Sunday School and Adult Education
5. Worship Team considerations for alternative services
Lunch: hot dogs any way you like ‘em ! Bring something to share.
Bring your bathing suit and a towel, wear casual clothes.
Come prepared to share in the spirit !
Lower Warner Meeting House Service
August 29th
Worship will be held at the LWMH on Sunday August 29th at 10 am. It will be a service that honors the time that this church served a specific group of people. The service will be much like it would have been ‘in the day’ - no electricity- but shorter in length. Feel free to wear ‘period’ clothing if you like.
Parking is difficult at the LWMH, so carpooling is suggested. Meet at the church at 9: 35, drivers will leave for the LWMH at 9:45. If you need transportation, please call the church office early Friday morning. (456-3447)
